ABOUT SIMON

Simon has more than fifteen years experience, working to off-line and on-line quality on documentary, educational, news, current affairs, corporate and community programmes. Equally conversant with Avid's Media Composer and Apple's Final Cut Pro, he has been involved in a number of award-winning and award-nominated programmes - see CV for details.

Simon loves dealing with people, both on the screen and in the edit suite. He enjoys building rapport with a director and the production staff as much as editing itself and is able to work alone, once briefed, to help bring to life the envisioned idea. He is able to see programmes right through the on-line process and is a qualified Color operator for grading.

He has his own up to date broadcast-spec Final Cut Pro system at his home in South Oxfordshire with the capability of uploading work to ftp for review and approval.
